Terms and conditions

Effective from 6 October 2026 until revoked.

Please read these General Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) carefully before making a purchase on the Vogue Boat Restaurant website (including pages available on subdomains of restaurantvogue.hu, such as szilveszter.restaurantvogue.hu). By making a purchase, you accept the terms set out here.

2. Products available

2.1. Gift vouchers

Electronic gift vouchers (in PDF format) can be purchased on the website and are sent to the email address provided after purchase.

The vouchers:

  • carry a unique serial number,
  • can be used up to the stated value or for the stated experience,
  • are valid for 180 days (vouchers of a chosen value) or 90 days (fixed vouchers); the validity is shown on the product page and on the PDF voucher.

2.2. Event tickets

Tickets for events held on a specific date (e.g. the New Year’s Eve dinner) can be purchased on the website. A ticket entitles one person to attend the event on the day and at the time advertised.

  • The ticket price includes VAT and the service charge.
  • What the ticket includes, the time of the event and the conditions of attendance (e.g. age limit, eligibility for reduced tickets, dress code) are set out on the event page.
  • We may check eligibility for reduced (child) tickets on site.
  • The operator reserves the right to change the menu.
  • The table reservation becomes final once the full ticket price has been received. Seats are allocated in the order in which tickets are purchased; seating is finalised 1–2 days before the event.

3. How to purchase

3.1. Gift vouchers

  • The buyer selects the type and value of the voucher.
  • The buyer provides the required details (name, email, billing address).
  • The buyer accepts these Terms.
  • The buyer pays by bank card.
  • After successful payment, the system immediately sends the PDF voucher to the email address provided.

3.2. Event tickets

  • The buyer selects the ticket type (full price or reduced) and the number of tickets.
  • The buyer provides the required details (name, email, phone number, billing address).
  • The buyer accepts these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
  • The buyer chooses a payment method (bank card or bank transfer) and places the order.
  • For card payments, the ticket is sent to the email address provided after successful payment.
  • For bank transfers, the transfer details are displayed after the order is placed. We send the ticket to the email address provided within 48 hours, once we have confirmed that the amount has arrived in our bank account.

4. Payment

Gift vouchers can only be paid for by bank card. Event tickets can be paid for by bank card or bank transfer.

Card payments are processed by the website’s secure payment provider, Teya. The website does not store bank card details under any circumstances.

For bank transfers, the beneficiary is: Vogue Wave Kft., account number: 11600006-00000000-48249667 (Erste Bank Zrt.), IBAN: HU54 11600006-00000000-48249667, BIC/SWIFT: GIBAHUHB. Please use the order number as the payment reference.

5. Invoicing

5.1. Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers qualify as multi-purpose vouchers, so no invoice is issued at the time of purchase. Invoicing takes place when the voucher is redeemed:

  • For private individuals: on redemption, the amount is entered in the cash register, or an invoice is issued on request.
  • For business customers: please let us know by email or on site.

5.2. Event tickets

Once the ticket price has been received, we issue an electronic invoice and send it to the email address provided.

6. Right of withdrawal

6.1. Gift vouchers

The buyer may withdraw from the purchase without giving reasons within 14 days of ordering, provided that the PDF gift voucher has not yet been redeemed.

The buyer must notify the operator of the withdrawal by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email). The operator refunds the value of the unredeemed voucher to the bank account specified by the buyer no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for vouchers that have been redeemed in full or in part.

6.2. Event tickets

An event ticket is a leisure service for a specific date; therefore, under Section 29(1)(l) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between consumers and businesses, the buyer has no right of withdrawal. Purchased tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

7. Terms of use

7.1. Gift vouchers

  • The voucher can be redeemed in one transaction, at its full face value.
  • It cannot be exchanged for cash, and no change is given.
  • The buyer is responsible for keeping the voucher intact and for checking its expiry date.

7.2. Event tickets

  • The ticket is valid only for the event and time stated on it.
  • The ticket cannot be exchanged for cash or for another event.

8. Data protection

The operator processes the data provided during purchases on the website in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

9. Complaints

We investigate complaints and respond within 7 days of receipt.

10. Disputes

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. The parties will first try to settle any dispute amicably; failing that, the District Court of Budapest XX, XXI and XXIII has jurisdiction.

Vogue Wave Kft. reserves the right to amend these Terms. Amendments take effect when they are published on the website.
